February 8, 2002

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW YORK, NYAn all-new Internet feature section designed specifically for homeowners and consumers will soon be added to "The Copper Page" Web site hosted by the Copper Development Association Inc. (CDA).

The new section, called "Copper In Your Home," offers a wealth of user-friendly information about the many ways copper-based products enhance our homes and our lives. Topics will range from understanding today's home communications wiring to how residential plumbing and heating systems
function. Other areas of the site will feature hands-on projects homeowners can make with copper, interior design tips, and information about copper and health.

Relevant portions of "Copper In Your Home" will link directly to the main CDA Web site, "The Copper Page," which provides technical information on copper and installation techniques for builders, architects, plumbers and other tradesmen.

"Copper In Your Home" goes online March 15, 2002.

NOTE TO IBS ATTENDEES: Drop off your business card or have your IBS badge scanned at CDA booths #5307 or #437 and receive an automatic update when the site is up and running.

The Copper Development Association is the information, education, market and technical development arm of the copper, brass and bronze industries in the USA.
