June 27, 2024

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

McLean, VA— The Copper Development Association, Inc. (CDA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcus Elmer as the association’s next Vice President. Elmer joined CDA in 2022 as Director, Tube & Fittings, and added value immediately by increasing member engagement, and delivering impactful results in strategic initiatives that promote, protect, and defend the use of copper in water service lines, next generation HVAC/R equipment, green and healthy buildings, and beyond.

“Marcus’s expert knowledge of copper products and markets, and his experience working for a copper semi-fabricator and contractor, give him a valuable skillset that translates well to advancing CDA’s mission to bring the value of copper to society,” said Adam Estelle, CDA’s President and CEO. “His strategic thinking, team-first mentality, focus on member value creation, and strong business acumen, will help CDA succeed and reach its full potential.”

As Vice President, Elmer will provide critical support and leadership in developing, enacting, managing and continuously improving market development and strategic communications programs across CDA’s Councils in conjunction with the input, engagement, and active participation of CDA’s member companies and strategic partners. Elmer will also continue to lead CDA’s Tube & Fittings Council, building momentum to enable continued success in a core market for copper.
