CDA Commends the DOE for Inclusion of Copper on the Draft Critical Materials Assessment
The Copper Development Association is pleased to see that for the first time a U.S. federal agency is following the lead of the EU, Canada, Japan, India, China and others by characterizing copper as critical through its inclusion on the official DOE Critical Materials List. In particular, DOE is recommending a designation for copper of near-critical in the medium term (2025-2035).
